Where our market data comes from
We connect to Coinbase Exchange's public WebSocket and REST feeds to pull real-time price snapshots, recent candles, and trade history. The price you see when a position opens is the same price moving on the world's largest crypto exchange at that exact moment.
Each enabled symbol gets its own in-memory price store that refreshes continuously. The platform does not drift, lag, or invent numbers. When your LONG position wins, it wins because the live market moved up. When it loses, the live market moved against you.
This matters because an AI trading platform is only useful if it faithfully represents the markets it trades. Bad data would make Arena AI unreliable. Real data makes it a credible execution environment.

Listing criteria
How markets enter the arena
We select pairs based on three criteria: liquidity, volatility, and reliable data feed availability. A market needs enough volume to produce clean candles, enough movement to generate strategy signals, and a stable public API to keep the AI informed.
New listings start in observation mode. We monitor feed health, history quality, and signal viability before enabling the pair in the main arena. This protects the platform from stale data or thinly traded outliers that would distort the AI's view.
Operators can also configure enabled symbols per user through the admin panel. This is useful for private sessions, classroom settings, or themed trading events where only a specific set of markets is active.
The long-term goal is a broad universe of markets spanning crypto, indices, and synthetic assets. Every new market is integrated with the same real-data promise and the same execution discipline.
